MLS veteran Brad Evans has signed for Sporting Kansas City as a free agent, following his time at Seattle Sounders.
The 32-year-old has spent the last nine years in Seattle making 200 appearances. He became a free agent following the end of last season and he has signed a one-year-deal with SKC with the option of adding a further year.
Before signing for his new club, Evans was quick to thank the Sounders faithful, he tweeted:
“Can’t say ‘thank you’ enough to my @SoundersFC family/players that trusted in me & of course the city of Seattle for 9 years of amazing memories. We had a good run.
“I hope you continue to support your rave green soldiers through thick & thin. I’ll be your future GM.”
