Former Queens Park Rangers captain Nedum Onuoha is in talks with Real Salt Lake ahead of a move to the United States, according to West London Sport.
Onuoha is considering a move to Major League Soccer after leaving QPR in June following six-and-a-half-years at Loftus Road where he established himself as a firm fan-favourite.
The 31-year-old signed for the West London outfit from Manchester City back in 2012. He has featured in the Premier League for both clubs and has a wealth of experience under his belt.
The experienced defender would provide a vast amount of knowledge as well as versatility to Real Salt Lake’s back-line. Onuoha has the ability to feature in the centre of defence or at full-back.
Mike Petke’s RSL side find themselves in 4th position in the Western Conference, so this addition would help sure things up at the back as they look to secure a place in the postseason.
