Bastian Schweinsteiger enjoyed an emotional night as he returned to Bayern Munich for his testimonial game. He played a half for each side as Chicago Fire were beaten 4-0 at the Allianz Arena – He even managed to get on the score sheet himself.
Schweinsteiger played the first half in Chicago Fire colours as Bayern went into the half-time interval 2-0 up thanks to goals from Serge Gnabry and Sandro Wagner. He returned to the pitch in Bayern Munich red and he went on to score a beautiful volley in front of the Bayern faithful which capped off a 4-0 win for his old side:
